I believe that this quote can easily be related to life today. Many young people nowadays, especially teenagers, will get into relationships that end not long after they start. Romeo has realized that Juliet is not pale, but actually has full color in her. He believes that she is too beautiful to be conquered by death that quickly. This is an example of dramatic irony.
